Questions people ask
Where is my data?
On your phone. There is no account and no server — nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing to log into. See Privacy.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export everything in an open format from Settings. It is yours; taking it elsewhere should not require asking us. [1.0]
Can I delete everything?
Yes, in the app, immediately and permanently. Deleting the app removes it all too. [1.0]
Does it sync between my devices?
Not yet. When it arrives it will be optional and off unless you turn it on.
Kilograms or pounds?
Asked once when you first open the app, changeable any time in Settings. Changing it converts the display; nothing you logged is altered.
Why does it ask for my name?
Only to say hello on the home screen. It is optional, you can skip it, and you can change or remove it in Settings at any time. It is not used for anything else and never leaves your phone.
Why is there no streak?
Deliberate. The evidence on habit formation is that a single missed day has no measurable effect — so a streak that resets to zero is telling you something untrue at the worst possible moment. The app shows you what you actually did instead.
Why doesn’t it tell me what to lift?
Also deliberate. It records what you did and states the facts of it. It does not give training or medical advice, and the programmes it offers are common training structures with their sources credited, not recommendations.
Does it work with Apple Watch?
Yes — rest timing and logging on the wrist, and rest alerts reach you on the Lock Screen and through a Focus.
Does it need Apple Health?
No. Allow it and workouts can be read and written; decline and everything else works unchanged.
It crashed / something looks wrong
Please tell us, at the address above. Your data is on the device, so it is still there — but say so if anything looks missing, because that is the thing we most want to hear about quickly.
