These terms cover the jadapps.com website and the apps published by Drawbridges under the JADA name. They are written to be read.
The apps
Apple’s terms apply too. Anything installed from the App Store is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. Where that agreement and this page disagree, Apple’s wins.
What you may do. Use the apps, on the devices your Apple account allows, for as long as you like. Your data is yours: take it out whenever you want.
What you may not do. Resell the apps, pull them apart to rebuild them as your own, or use them to break the law.
We may change them. Apps get updated. Features occasionally go away. Where a change removes something you were relying on, we will say so plainly in the release notes rather than let you discover it.
Health and safety — read this one
The apps are a log, not a coach. MyGymRoutine records what you tell it and states the facts of it. It does not prescribe training, does not tell you what to lift, and does not judge whether what you did was wise.
Nothing in the apps is medical advice. They are not a medical device and are not a substitute for a doctor, a physiotherapist, or a qualified coach. If you have an injury, a health condition, or you are unsure whether an exercise is safe for you, ask someone qualified — not an app.
Training carries risk, and the risk is yours. Lifting can injure you. You decide what to attempt. The programmes the app ships are common training structures, credited to where they come from; they are offered as starting points, not recommendations, and adopting one is not us telling you it suits you.
Stop if something hurts. No number in any app of ours is worth an injury.
Your data
Your training data lives on your device. What the apps store, and what they never collect, is set out in the privacy notice.
What we promise, and what we do not
We build these carefully. We test them, we look at every screen before it ships, and we write down why things are the way they are.
We do not promise the apps are free of defects, that they will suit your particular training, or that they will never lose data — which is exactly why the export exists and why we would rather you kept your own copy.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
The website
The site is provided as it is. We may change it. Links to other people’s sites are not endorsements of them.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not take away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
